Philosophy

At Little Scholars’ Academy, our mission is to provide innovative programs that help children, families and staff work together to achieve the highest quality in your child’s early education. We strive to nurture each child's unique qualities and potential, support families through strong partnerships and create a work environment that encourages professionalism, growth and diversity.

Our approach reflects the beliefs of Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson and Lev Vygotsky. Their belief is centered on the "power of play" and learning through discovery. Children learn more efficiently and gain more knowledge through play-based activities. At Little Scholars’ we provide a learning program that embraces children’s natural curiosity and encourages them to explore and connect to the world around them. Our students are engaged in age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, problem solving and a sense of wonder — resulting in cognitive, social and emotional growth and development.

We help children acquire the social and academic skills they need to succeed as lifelong learners.  Our goal is to enrich and enhance each child's preschool experience, by providing stimulating opportunities for children to explore, discover, play and learn.
